God and Family - Sunday, September 12 ::

All Fifth Grade boys and girls and a parent are invited to join us on Sunday, September 12 from 6-7:30pm to begin the God and Family program. We will be meeting Sundays for 10- sessions (September 12 – December 5).
The God and Family program is designed to help youth understand the importance of family and God’s role in a healthy family. We will celebrate the completion of the program with a pizza party on Sunday, December 5. The cost of this program is $15, which covers the price of the student workbook. This program is officially recognized by the Boy Scouts of America, Camp Fire USA, and the Girl Scouts of the USA as the religious awards program for youth in our church and youth in those organizations are particularly encouraged to attend. In addition to participating in the meetings and completing family projects, youth are required to share what they have learned with the pastor before they are eligible for the award, which they will have the opportunity to do at the last class during the pizza party. The Christmas Puzzle - Intro Meeting - September 15 ::

Children’s Ministry is looking for Pre-K through 5th grade actors, actresses, singers and dancers to star in our Christmas Eve (4pm) children’s play. We will be performing “The Christmas Puzzle,” a children’s musical about how we are all part of God’s picture. We will have an introduction meeting on Wednesday night, September 15, from 7:30-8pm in the Wesley Center where CDs for all and audition lines, for speaking parts, will be distributed. A $5 donation for the CDs would be appreciated.
AUDITIONS will be held on Wednesdays, September 22 and 29, in the Wesley Center stage from 7:30-8pm. You will have the opportunity to sign up for an audition time at the Introduction meeting. No experience necessary! Come join the fun!
